Say goodbye to physical passbooks – make your phone your passbook with RBI-compliant technology. By linking your bank account to GenWise, you can now view all your balances, transactions, and spending patterns in one place – all within the comfort of your own home.
1. Open the GenWise App and click on the ‘Risk-Free Passbook’ tab.
2. Click on ‘Add Bank Account’ on the bottom of the screen.
3. From the list, select your bank.
4. A dialogue box will pop up, click on ‘Continue.’
5. You will now have to enter OTP from OneMoney to link your bank account.
6. You will now have to select your bank account from the list of ‘Accounts Discoverable For Mobile Number’ (refer to image 1) and click on ‘Link your bank account’ banner at the bottom. (refer to image 2)
7. Enter the OTP from the bank. (refer to image 3)
8. Approve the consent by clicking on the ‘Approve’ button on the screen. (refer to image 4)
9. There would be a window showing ‘Account linking in process.’ Please do not press the back button or close the app.
10. Your bank account is now linked to your GenWise App!
11. You can now view your digital passbook on your phone, which is a replica of your physical passbook.
You can now view all your bank account balances, transactions, etc. for multiple bank accounts in one place. Say goodbye to tiring bank visits!
